Notifications & Alerts Guide
Fleetr provides real-time alerts to keep fleet managers informed of driver behavior, safety risks, and potential issues in the field.
Accessing Notification History
Access your alert history by clicking Notifications on the left menu, or by selecting the Bell icon next to the search bar.
Within the history panel, you can:
Filter by Date: Use the date picker below the bell icon to review alerts for a specific day.
Mark All as Read: Clear unread badges without deleting your historical alert logs.
Monitored Alert Types
Fleetr logs and reports the following key vehicle events:
| Alert Type | Trigger Condition |
| Harsh Braking | Triggered when rapid deceleration is detected |
| After Hours | Vehicle movement outside configured operating hours |
| Idling | Vehicle engine is running with no movement for more than 5 minutes |
| Speeding | Vehicle exceeds the speed thresholds set in the Admin module |
| Inactive Device | Triggered after a tracking unit remains disconnected for 48 hours |
Configuring Your Notifications
To choose which alerts you receive:
Open the Notifications module.
Click Set Up Notifications at the bottom of the screen.
Toggle or checkmark the specific alerts you want active for your profile.
Note: After Hours and Speeding threshold parameters can be adjusted under Admin > Settings.
