There are several reasons why there may be a delay in LiveView, the possible causes are listed below:
1. Low signal locations: when transiting in low signal areas, the device will try to connect to location services using the triangulation method. Therefore, you may experience lag problems at some points during your trip.
2. Transit on highways: Generally, when traveling on a highway, you may experience a small delay because many times the speed of the vehicle movement is greater than the time it takes the device to receive the location with GPS services, so you may see small "jumps" during the trip.
3. Communication problems with the location service: In some cases, it is possible to experience a considerable delay in updating the current location of the device due to problems with the location service used by the device either due to server saturation problems, crashes, internal failures, etc.
4. Device problems: If you are experiencing constant travel delay problems or if the vehicle is in motion and the device is not reporting anything, it may be due to a problem with the device. In that case, you should contact Fleetr support for a troubleshooting process to identify the fault and if necessary, proceed with device replacement.
It should be noted that devices usually have a small delay of up to 1-minute maximum. If you experience any delay with a longer delay, please contact support to report the issue so we can work on correcting it as soon as possible.
